Learn More About Australian Animals During This Family-Friendly Zoo Exhibit

San Antonio Zoo goes down under for the summer! Australia is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world and the zoo is bringing that to the Alamo City. Be part of the fun when you visit Wild Australia, a new exhibit at San Antonio Zoo, on Saturday, July 6th!

At Wild Australia, visitors may learn all about Australia and the animals that call it home. See koalas, take a stroll through the Australian Aviary, and hop on over to see kangaroos in the all-new Roo Walkabout. Kids and adults will love taking part in this limited-time exhibit, which promises eye-popping animal encounters!

Boasting a family-friendly environment, San Antonio Zoo is committed to securing a future for wildlife. Through its passion and expertise in animal care, conservation, and education, the zoo’s mission is to inspire its community to love, engage with, act for and protect animals and the places they live.
The zoo welcomes more than a million visitors each year and is open year-round. San Antonio Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the Zoological Association of America, and Humane Certified by American Humane.

Journey to a faraway land, without leaving San Antonio, at Wild Australia! The Roo Walkabout is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is $8 per person. Wild Australia is included in regularly-priced admission and as a special perk for zoo Annual Pass holders. Regular priced admission is $28 for adults and $25 for children.
